When we moved into our home in 2016, we almost immediately updated paint colors and then moved on to renovating our kitchen. We’ve slowly updated the areas we spend the most time in, except our bedroom. We still have the furniture we used in college! Luckily everything held up great and we haven’t had to replace anything.
Since we are planning to tear apart our bathroom and closet, we’ve decided now is the time to also breathe some new life into our room.
Here’s the plan:
- New bed and bed frame (no more college mattress! – my back is already thanking me)
- New (matching) night stands
- Replace carpet with engineered hardwood
- Fresh new paint color
